(I GRADUATED from Clarkson College in 1971 with a BS in Chemical Engineering with a GPA of 3.89 or so (I don't remember but I was 10th in my graduating class OUT OF ABOUT 2000 3rd or was it second in my department OUT OF ABOUT 150 OR S0, LOL .. I don't remember ...)
Then went to work for EASTMAN KODAK CO but that I had always had an entrepreneurial streak in me.. I started the FANTASTY MAIL COMPANY which was one of the first mail order subscription comic book companies in the world in 1976 and ran it while still being employed full time @ EASTMAN KODAK CO. until 1979 when I had sold it (And that our last years gross sales was in excess of $100,000 per year and than when comic books were only 35c @) to go into another business which was were I had got trapped in a fire and became disabled along the way I had got divorced, and became lost with my TBI for about 20 years or so then I had been heard about a man named TONY ROBBINS and I said yes to going to his events.
In DECEMBER 2002 I had got my chance to be on stage with TONY ROBBINS and that is where I had got my idea for my COMIC BOOK and that unbeknownst to me there was my future business partner in a leadership role there; GOD is GREAT Isn't he?
At the event I had heard TONY speak about a similar event a man named JEFF HART got the idea for the SCREEN PLAY SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE AND WROTE IT SOLD IT for $250,000.00 And I, in my ignorance said how hard could that be not realizing that Mr. HART had been in the movie Industry for about forever and had only to go up to his boss @ SONY studios and pitch him the idea. But that I had this idea based on a now defunct comic BOOK making it into a MOVIE that will be bigger than STAR WARS AND HARRY POTTTER COMBINED..
And then I had taken ACTION I had hired a writer to write the THE YOUNG EXPLORERS @ then along the way STAN R had called me up said that he was interested in doing this project with me and I said to myself who is this guy?
But he had a plan to make this happen and that's were I had got the concept for making this COMIC BOOK..
He is responsible for the initial creation of the original website and the COMIC BOOK which is not yet ready to be sold yet. I know that this a bit long and that it does not address how I got this energy level or of being always an optimist. I want you to know that while I may have had more resources than you do and not be as disabled as you are...
That my mission is to be a role model that given where you are in your life that anything is possible. It does not matter how much money or (little that you may have) it does not matter what your disability is unless you can't form a focus and have a persistence of your mission then there are of course more steps to be taken each day but it starts out with a definite purpose and a burning desire to go forward no matter how hard it may seem at the time.
